Pyramids of Giza won an award for best international tourist attraction, and granted by the World Tourism Organization occasion of the commemoration of its founding ceremony of the 14 islands Turks and throw the Caribbean.
He described Dr. Zahi Hawass, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities of Egypt this award as the Academy Awards tourism especially as they most value and importance in the tourism industry.
He Hawass in his statements reported by the Kuwaiti news agency “fee” to be voting on the awards this year were by a 167 thousand people interested in tourism and specialists representing 160 States, through the organization on the Internet.
He said: “This award is the strongest response to the allegations other than the exit of the pyramids described as a new seven wonders of the world organized by the group have nothing to do with effects or tourism last July and voted in by amateurs and the general public.”
